Legendary West Virginia cult movie Paradise Park gets second life; teams with Homer Hickam’s Rocket Boys Festival for major joint initiative and reclamation collaboration

Why: Announcement of an upcoming collaborative project between the Rocket Boys Festival and the film makers of the award-winning 1992 West Virginia film “Paradise Park” including the first ever major re-issue of the legendary film on DVD and digital platforms, which starred West Virginia residents alongside late folk heroes including country music legends Porter Waggoner, Razzy Bailey and Johnny Paycheck, wrestling legend American Dream Dusty Rhodes as a Kanawha County sheriff’s deputy.  Many well-known West Virginia actors also found their way into this 1992 film including Webb Wilder, Michael Martin, Neal Clark.
