The West Virginia Game Developers Expo has joined forces with the West Virginia Cybersecurity Expo to bring their first spring expo virtually this Friday April 16th.
There will be sessions on secure practices for coding and computer networks, mobile app development, and all things game development. No schedule has been posted, but guest speakers are up.
The Game Developers Keynote Speaker is Christian Allen of Epic Games; he has worked on AAA game projects for Ubisoft, Bungie, and Warner Bros. He will be speaking at 12:30pm. Other game developer speakers are Christie Trent (Programmer, Graphic Designer, Animator), Rob Jenkins (Software Developer, Network Integrator, IoT Designer/Programmer), and Gary Brafford (Game Developer and Programmer)
Cybersecurity Keynote Speaker is Ira Winkler (CISO for Skyline Technology Systems and author of You Can Stop Stupid) one of the world’s most influential security professionals. He will be speaking at 9:30am. Other cybersecurity speakers are Bill Gardner (Assistant Professor, Marshall University) and Scott Nicholas (Professor, Mountwest Community and Technical College).
