Companies donating kits to libraries this year are Konami with the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game demo, USAopoly with Reverse Charades, YummyYummyYummy with Nommons: Math Universe and Calcuquest, Steve Jackson Games with Trophy Buck and Munchkin Treasure Hunt, Looney Labs with Choose One and EcoFluxx, and Paizo with the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game.  Now your library may not have gotten any of these kits.  Feel free to bring your favorite games to share with all.  Dryden Press is offering a free introductory copy of their Big Damn Dryden RPG to all who take part in IGD.

There will also be the International Minecraft Hunger Games set up by the Ann Arbor District Library.  Your library might be one of the districts for this tournament against other libraries.  BallyHoo Games is giving promo codes to their new iPad/iPhone game Zombie Heat to 25 libraries.

Check your local library to see if they are taking part in this event, or if they might be doing their game day early.  Libraries that I found on the IGD map include Kanawha county libraries, New Martinsville, Morgantown, Martinsburg, Craft Memorial Library in Bluefield, Vienna, Fayette County, Summersville, and Clarksburg.

If you have some time this Saturday, stop by to check out the gaming and be part of your community.
